xPortal is a non-custodial wallet designed for storing various digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokens (NFTs), and AI-generated avatars.
Incidentally, interest in NFTs has already declined so significantly that having them in this—or any other—application no longer provides much practical value.
The app’s primary goal is to give users the ability to securely manage their assets by sending and receiving digital currencies. The option to buy and sell cryptocurrency within the app is made possible through integration with third-party payment systems.
Within the xPortal ecosystem, users can exchange various tokens that comply with the eStandard (ESDT) on the MultiversX platform. These exchanges are carried out via the xExchange decentralized exchange (DEX), enabling seamless asset management.
The eGold (EGLD) token serves as the primary token for the MultiversX ecosystem and is used across xPortal and related platforms to pay for transaction fees and staking.

Since this isn’t my first crypto wallet review, I decided to check an app analytics website before installing the application. According to publicly available data, the app is most frequently installed in Romania. Why exactly there remains a mystery.
Benefits
➕ Gaming
One of xPortal’s most notable features is the ability to participate in “Play-to-Earn” (P2E) games. You can dive into an engaging gaming world where, alongside entertainment, there’s a chance to earn real financial rewards. This approach to gamification makes using the platform more interactive, offering the opportunity to earn while enjoying the gameplay. Not every crypto wallet can boast this feature—and that’s undoubtedly a plus.
➕ Debit Card
xPortal offers its own debit card. Having one allows you to pay with cryptocurrency anywhere. You no longer need to worry about conversion or other complexities—just use the debit card, and everything happens instantly. However, this privilege is available only to residents of the Eurozone.

Drawbacks
➖ Lack of Support for Popular Networks and Tokens—Tron, Ton
xPortal operates on the MultiversX network. Yes, that very network which is hardly known to anyone outside a narrow circle of enthusiasts. I certainly miss the ability to use networks and tokens like Tron and Ton. Tron currently hosts many popular stablecoins, and Ton is gaining popularity—so their absence isn’t just a drawback, it’s a real disaster!
You’ll have to install an additional application to work with these networks. Sounds absolutely great, doesn’t it? First, you download xPortal to manage your wallet, and then you install yet another app to connect to what everyone else has long considered standard.
➖ Extensive Functionality
Well, what can I say about xPortal’s “intuitive” user interface? Registration, backing up keys, buying and selling cryptocurrency, NFTs, and staking—this entire set of features is impressive. But with such a wide array of options, navigating the interface becomes quite a challenge, and for me, it proved to be an impossible task.
➖ Security
I’ve noticed that people around me constantly emphasize Trust Wallet’s advantages, citing its connection to one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges. This creates an illusion of reliability, making users believe that every aspect of using this wallet is completely safe. In reality, the link to Binance may expose crypto assets to various risks.
Binance’s regulatory policies and restrictions could unexpectedly affect Trust Wallet users. We all know how quickly the rules can change, and at any moment, additional verification requirements or wallet access restrictions could be imposed. In such a scenario, all cryptocurrency operations could be jeopardized—calling into question the very essence of decentralization.
Conclusions
To wrap up, I want to say that although the xPortal app is feature-rich, it left me with a questionable impression. All these options—from cryptocurrency storage to gamification via “Play-to-Earn” games—make me smile. It creates mixed feelings.
I can’t help but highlight again a huge drawback—the lack of support for must-have networks and tokens. I really want to ask the developers: Is it really so difficult to integrate truly significant blockchain networks into your app?

I think xPortal is initially targeted at a younger audience, not adults. Installing an app for cryptocurrency games is your choice, of course, but it seems to me (considering its impressive size of almost 300 MB) that one could expect more. At least the inclusion of Tron.
There’s only one conclusion here, and it speaks for itself: the developers ask for my phone number without offering the ability to conduct transactions via Tron in return. So how am I supposed to send my favorite USDT on the Tron network? I certainly will, just not using this app.
